Book Review: Not In My Book by Katie Holt

✨ If you’re a sucker for enemies-to-lovers romance with sparkling banter and slow-burn chemistry, Not in My Book is one you’ll want to add to your TBR! ✨

This book is a charming and witty romance centred around two writers, who are forced to collaborate on a book. Rosie, an aspiring romance writer who believes in happily-ever-afters, couldn’t be more different from Aiden, a brooding literary fiction writer who hates her optimism.

I loved that the simmering tension turned into heartfelt chemistry as elements of the main characters real lives spill into the fictional story they’re writing together. Their witty dialogue kept me hooked and watching their relationship evolve felt so natural.

The only reason this isn’t a full 5-star read for me is that the third-act breakup felt a bit rushed, but the sweet resolution made up for it. This book is a love letter to storytelling, opposites-attract romance and believing in happy endings—even when it feels impossible.
